This area is named after the goddess Lato (or Lito) who was the mother of APPOLO and ARTEMIS.
Its ruins date back to the fourth and second century BC and have been preserved in very good condition.
Apart from its archaeological and historical interest Lato is a place with a panoramic view of the whole region.
